Prof. K. Kitayama
received the M.E. degree
from
His research interests are in photonic
networks, optical signal processings, optical code
division multiple access(OCDMA) systems, and
radio-over-fiber systems. He has published over 240
papers in refereed journals and holds more than 30 patents.
He
currently serves on the Editorial Boards of the IEEE/OSA J. Lightwave Technol., IEEE Transactions on Communications,
and Optical Switching and Networking as the Associate Editor.
Prof. Kitayama received IEICE Achievement
Award in 2004, Shida Rinzaburoh
Award in 2007. He is the Fellow of IEEE and the Fellow
of IEICE of
Japan.
